Ustadh, why did you say ijma isn’t an evidence within itself when there are so many evidences that ijma is a hujjah Prophet ﷺ said: إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَجْمَعُ أُمَّتِي عَلَى ضَلَالَةٍ (Tirmidhi 2167) Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen said this in: مجموع فتاوى ورسائل الشيخ ابن عثيمين، ١١/٦٣

You have misunderstood, we said it is evidence. However is it evidence because it is evidence in itself or because it is indicative of textual evidence? The latter.
