I live in Canada, where we deal with non muslims on a daily basis. How do we implement/explain this Hadith. لاَ تَبْدَءُوا الْيَهُودَ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى بِالسَّلاَمِ فَإِذَا لَقِيتُمْ أَحَدَهُمْ فِي طَرِيقٍ فَاضْطَرُّوهُ إِلَى أَضْيَقِهِ ‏بارك الله فيك

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan

In the lands of the disbelievers you can give give greetings and reply akhi. As what is meant in the hadeeth is that you don't make it norrow upon you to give them more space etc as is our habit of generosity and so on.
