Imam Ibn Baz said: A fasting person is often exposed to situations beyond their control—such as wounds, nosebleeds, vomiting, or water reaching the throat unintentionally. All of these do not break the fast, because the Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever is overcome by vomiting does not have to make up the fast, but whoever induces it must make it up.” (authentic : Al Albani).
