أحسن الله إليكم I wish to visit my home country, which is a non-muslim country, is it considered tourism to do so? I ask due to the impermissibility of travelling to non-muslim countries for tourism. جزاكم الله خيرا

The reason the ulama forbade travelling to a non-Muslim country is to protect you religion and not get influenced by them and their lifestyle as is stated in their fatwas. And this is the scale that u can measure your case with. May Allah rewaed you.
