السلام عليكم ورحمة الله ، أحسن الله إليكم How should we deal with criticism between Salafi scholars? Some brothers reject students of a refuted Shaykh based solely on the jarh against their teacher. Is this the right approach? What is a just and balanced way to handle such scholarly disagreements?

No this is ignorance and stuff like this should be avoided, the sighar (those small in age or knowledge) should not indulge in a problem or fitnah if it happens between salafi ulama', unless if they r able to fix or reduce it, otherwise no.
