Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh What is your advice for when the scholars differ regarding an individual? Assuming we do not know enough about the situation/are not knowledgeable enough to judge ourselves. JazakAllah khairan

If 2 scholars differ, then seek out other scholars to shed some light, unless the sheikh at hand is a salafi and it is just a problem or a fitnah that happened between him and the other salafi scholar who warned against him, then we avoid the fitnah and only try to fix things we dont add to the fitnah or how do we call ourselves followers of the salaf if we add to fitnahs and dont fix/avoid them!
