أحسن الله إليكم Asking for a friend In my study, there is a specific subject where attendance is mandatory throughout the entire year, and it conflicts with the jumuah prayer. We are evaluated during every single class, and there is no possibility of rescheduling this subject. What should I do?

Study is not an excuse to leave Jumuʿah, so first look for a way: ask the administration, or find another class or institution. If none is possible and missing the class truly harms you, Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said Jumuʿah falls from you and you pray Ẓuhr instead.
