If you join the Salah when the Imam is in one position and as you are moving to join him he starts to get up for example the next Rak’ah from Sujud. do you finish the Sujud position before getting up? And does this effect your prayer in anyway? Should I be cautious of this or quickly join the Salah?

Say the opening takbir standing, then go straight into whatever position the imam is in, without waiting. If he rises before your forehead reaches the ground, rise with him and do not complete the sujud, and this does not harm your prayer.
