Assalamu alaikum Ustadh. Is posting hobby videos permissible despite unavoidable YouTube ads, and does the ruling for beneficial content apply? Also, can I use nasheeds instead of music, and are sound effects or memes with distorted images permissible? JazakAllahu khayran.

Yes, posting permissible videos is allowed even if YouTube places ads you cannot control. I would not recommend putting nasheeds. Sound effects that sound like instruments are not allowed. Memes and the sort are not befitting of students of knowledge.
