Repent sincerely, and since the owner cannot be reached, give what was taken in charity on his behalf, as Imam Ibn Baz said, and if the exact amount is unknown, give what was most likely taken, as Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said. If the owner ever becomes reachable, it must be returned to him.
