Is it permissible to complain to Allah when being tested with obeying him Ie: "Ya Allah, I really want to drink X and X but I fear you" or "Ya Allah, I know Y and Y is haram but my soul beautifies it and it hurts disobeying my nafs and obeying you"

You can talk to Allah yes and ask dont just say this say Allahumma aghnini bihalalika an haramika (O Allah suffice me with that which is halal than that which is haram)
