السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته أحسن الله إليكم. Can a woman praying Fajr at home receive the reward of remembering Allah until sunrise? If she leaves briefly to renew her wudu, does she lose this reward? جزاكم الله خيرًا.

Imam Ibn Baz said the woman is like the man in this, whether in the masjid or at home, if she stays in her place of prayer remembering Allah until sunrise and then prays two rak'ahs. Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin held that it is specific to men who pray in congregation, and that she may hope for reward for what she did. Leaving to renew wudu and returning soon does not cut the reward, as the Permanent Committee stated.
