My parents are greatly bothered by me wearing clothes of Sunnah and I can’t talk them out of it. Am I wrong/sinful if I wear clothing of Sunnah in their presence? And what if I wore them while they are not in my presence. (Male regarding thobes/kufis etc)

The thawb and kufi are not obligatory, and Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said the Sunnah in dress is to wear what your people wear, as long as it is not forbidden.
