Desperate for a friend I love to be guided to Islam. I left him bc he isnt good for me, as the kuffar are. He’s kind and gentle but has severe mental health issues. What is the best dua i can make for him? what other deeds besides dua i can do for his guidance? No longer in contact nor anyone I know

‎Ask Allah to guide him by name, as the Prophet ﷺ‎ did when told a tribe had refused Islam: “O Allah, guide Daws and bring them” (agreed upon). Guiding the heart belongs to Allah alone, and he ﷺ‎ made du’a for many disbelievers and Allah guided them.
