I have limited knowledge in transactions, I heard that transferring different currencies must be in person (hand to hand), if I transfer money from my home bank to a foreign bank and do it online (from the banks app), is this permissible? Also are these matters covered in level 2? بارك الله فيكم

The scholars differ on this. The Permanent Committee and the fiqh councils held that the bank entry or a certified cheque takes the place of handing over, so the transfer is allowed, while others held that you should first exchange the currency yourself and then have the bank transfer it.
