My husband wants to take steroids in a medically approved dosage that will not harm him, he wants to take it for the sake of being a better police officer in the physicals aspect, ie better running, strength, Ability to foot chase someone etc, he always covers his aura as well, is this allowed ?

The scholars differ on this. Some hold that these hormones take the ruling of any medicine, allowed unless their harm is established, and others hold that performance steroids are not allowed because of their serious harms. All agree that whatever is shown to harm the body is forbidden.
