How should I treat Muslims who aren’t apparently as practicing as what I want as someone close to me? We usually have a good relationship that gets stronger but when I found out their nature and see that they are influencing me, I usually cut them off. What should I do in this scenario?

If they are bad for your religion, you can distance yourself from them, there's nothing wrong with that, and find those that make your religion stronger rather than weaker.
